What is exactly is Bazi?

Bazi also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a Chinese astrological concept that a person’s destiny or fate can be divined by the two sexagenary cycle (also known as the Stems-and-Branches or ganzhi) characters assigned to their birth year, month, day, and hour. Bazi can be dated back to the Han Dynasty, but it was not systematic as it is known today. Through Bazi, we can predict one’s personality, future, and reveal the patterns of your luck cycle. At the same time, it allows us to identify the lifetime favourable elements and auspicious colour.

Why is Bazi important and what are the benefits?

Bazi helps you understand your inner strengths and weaknesses, understanding it helps you to work with uncertainties. A Bazi analysis will aid you to look at your luck cycle (external influences), knowing how it will affect and influence your life. In a way, you will be able to plan ahead and make informed decisions. For example, understanding where your strengths lie and areas that you excel in can help you better decide career paths and discover your potential. But this is just one of the many examples, others include probable health issues and so on.

When should I get a Bazi reading?

There is no definite answer on when you should get it, but ideally, the earlier the better. This is so that you save more time making better and more informed decisions, rather than wasting all that time on things that would probably not work out as well for you.

Why do I need Fengshui? What are the benefits?

Fengshui can aid you in many aspects of your life through the alteration of the energy flowing around you and your surroundings. It is a powerful way to make a positive change, a desired change. Be it enhancing your current string of luck or helping you turn things around. It uses the energy of the objects surrounding you to attract positive energy (through this, achieve better relationships, luck, happiness, prosperity and health.

Do I need Fengshui if everything is going well for me?

Apart from the fact that Fengshui can change or better your current circumstances, it can also be seen as a “safety net”. The future is full of uncertainties and we’ll never know what will happen the next minute, it is always ideal to be prepared and informed.

What is the process like for a Fengshui audit?

Depending on the type of Fengshui consultation (commercial / residential), the following are required to study the Bazi configuration of the stakeholders and their compatibility to the unit:

There are some factors that paper floorplans do not consider. Thus, offsite service is provided for viewing of the overall environment and physical layout of the unit. Our Master will then draft an audited floorplan according to any changes needed and an analysis report will be provided to the client.

When do I need a Fengshui consultation?

Typically, clients consult us for unit selection before they decide to place a deposit or purchase the desired unit. However, if you already hold the keys, it is also possible to consult for an ideal house / commercial unit layout before moving in or the grand opening. Purchasing homes and moving into a new environment is a big decision and can affect how your life unfolds. Hence, it is always recommended to consult before making rash decisions.

Is Fengshui related to my personal beliefs and/or religion?

No. FengShui is based on science and not spiritual traditions or superstitions, there are a set of methodologies that we adhere to, it is a massive body of knowledge centered around the study of energy.

Am I able to keep a certain Chinese character I want for baby name selection / change of name?

Yes. There are Chinese traditions of keeping a certain character in the child’s name. If you have a desired one, inform us and we will be able to consider the possibilities of adding / keeping it when selecting auspicious characters.

Renovation signifies changes to the house, or house luck, that is a major process of moving into a new environment. Thus, it is important that renovation dates are seen as equally important to move-in or grand opening dates, that can be understood as a new beginning. Auspicious renovation, move-in and opening dates provide you with a peace of mind and inform you what to avoid or who should not be at the ceremony on the day itself.
